Joel Benge

Joel Benge is an experienced communication professional with a focus on messaging and marketing strategies for startups and various organizations. Currently serving as a Message Consultant, Coach, and Author at MessageSpecs LLC, and as a Startup Mentor at Techstars since September 2024, Benge supports early-stage companies in refining their messaging to scale effectively. Additional mentorship roles include working with adplist.org and MACH37 Cyber Accelerator, providing guidance to cybersecurity startups. Benge has held previous positions such as Head of Content at Punch Digital Strategies, Strategist at ADG Creative, and Director of Communications at Emergynt, among others. With a Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from the University of Maryland University College, Benge combines technical expertise and communication skills to enhance brand messaging and clarity in complex narratives.
