Balqees Aljaberi

Balqees AlJaberi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in finance and governance, currently serving as a Board Member and member of the Risk and Investment Committees at Daman - National Health Insurance Company since June 2023, and as a Board Member at Abu Dhabi Power Corporation since 2021. As the Head of Treasury Operations at ADQ since June 2020, Balqees has been instrumental in overseeing financial strategies. Previous roles include Vice President of Corporate Finance & Treasury at Senaat_GHC, Deputy Treasurer and Head of Treasury Sales & Restructuring at Al Hilal Official, and various senior positions within Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. Balqees holds a Master of Banking & Finance from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and a Bachelor of Business Administration & Quality Management from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, in addition to certifications in corporate governance and treasury management. Furthermore, Balqees completed an executive program in Artificial Intelligence at MBZUAI.
