Harun S.

Harun S. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Harun'smost recent role was as the Head of Engineering at Adravision, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at YouGov as an Engineering Manager from February 2021 to February 2023. Before joining YouGov, Harun was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at UBDI, a startup that was later acquired by Axia in 2021. Harun co-founded UBDI and was responsible for hiring and leading a team of engineers. Prior to UBDI, Harun worked as a Lead Engineer at dyos, a Berlin-based startup focused on modernizing payments in the crypto-enabled world. Harun led the development of a payment service called dPay and gained experience in React Native mobile development by creating a hard wallet for various cryptocurrencies.

Harun has also worked at Toptal as a Senior Front End Developer, where they collaborated closely with product teams and played a key role in implementing GraphQL. Harun started their career as a Front End Developer at Personal, Inc., building various projects for the company, including the main application and partner applications.

Before joining Personal, Inc., Harun worked as a Web Developer at Klix.ba, the largest news media portal in Bosnia. Harun built a highly scalable web portal with over 1 million monthly visitors. Harun also had a role as a PHP Developer at the Institute for Medical Expertise, where they contributed to the development of a large-scale platform handling patient information.

Harun S. completed their secondary education at Treca gimnazija from 2009 to 2013. Harun attained a Secondary School Diploma (SSS) with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Information Technologies, University "Džemal Bijedić" in Mostar, but did not obtain a degree. In 2022, they obtained a certification from Microsoft, specifically the MTA: Introduction to Programming Using JavaScript certification.
