Yasaman Nematbakhsh, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and healthcare. Yasaman is currently serving as the Co-Founder & CPO at Adra, a cloud-based AI platform that aims to improve dental diagnosis accuracy and reduce misdiagnosis. Prior to that, they were the CEO & Co-founder of 42LAB, a company that provides portable and affordable biotech laboratory equipment for students.

Yasaman has also worked as a Scientific Consultant at Ladies Investment Club (L.I.C.) and as a Fellow at Entrepreneur First. Yasaman has conducted extensive research as a Research Scholar at both the National University of Singapore and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Their research work has focused on areas such as cancer mechanics, microfluidics, cancer diagnostics, cell mechanics, and drug screening. Yasaman has also contributed to the development of high-throughput deform & trap microfluidic devices to measure the mechanical and biological properties of cancer cells. Additionally, Yasaman has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they assisted in teaching biomedical engineering courses and mentored students in achieving learning objectives.

Yasaman Nematbakhsh, PhD, received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010. Yasaman continued their education at Georgia Tech and obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering in 2013. Dr. Nematbakhsh then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Cancer Mechanics and Microfluidics, at the National University of Singapore from 2013 to 2017.
