Roar Østgaard

Roar Østgaard has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Roar started their career at Olje- og energidepartementet in 1997 as an Adviser, where they were responsible for financial control and supervision of the Ministry's financial management. Roar also handled budget planning and monitoring for the Ministry. In 2000, they moved to Adresseavisen where they served as a Group Controller, overseeing accounting, reporting, and budgeting. Roar played a significant role in the creation of Polaris Media ASA and worked on various cost reduction and restructuring projects. In 2007, Østgaard was promoted to the position of CFO, where they took charge of the Group's financial performance, including accounting, reporting, and budgeting. Roar also played a key role in the Group's acquisitions and merger with other media companies. From 2011, they held the role of Project Director, overseeing major development projects at Adresseavisen, including the establishment of a service center for financial services and the relocation of Adresseavisen to Trondheim city. Overall, Østgaard brings extensive experience in financial management and project leadership to any organization.

Roar Østgaard began their education in 1988 at the BI Norwegian Business School, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Roar completed their studies at the BI Norwegian Business School in 1991. Shortly after, Roar Østgaard enrolled in the Copenhagen Business School and obtained their Cand Merc degree in Economics in 1993.
