Christine Knaggs

Assistant Professor, Philosophy, Religion, & Leadership at Adrian College

Christine Knaggs is the current Dean of Graduate Studies and Institutional Effectiveness at Adrian College. Christine has previously worked as an Academic Consultant with senior administrators to write a comprehensive Academic Policy Handbook for St. Ursula Academy, as well as Interim Dean of the College of Education and Human Services at Lourdes University. Christine has also been IB DP Coordinator at Notre Dame Academy & Junior Academy, where they successfully led their school through the authorization process to become an IB World School. As coordinator, they were responsible for duties such as recruiting students for the program, completing all authorization and assessment materials, educating all school constituents regarding the IB Program, creating contacts between our school and IBO World Schools as well as IBO Headquarters, managing an IB budget, and fundraising for the program.

Christine Knaggs has a Ph.D. in Higher Education from The University of Toledo, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, Science Education from The University of Toledo, and an A.B. in Theirtory and Science from Harvard University. Christine also has an AYA Licensure in Life Science from the Ohio Department of Education and a Certification from the Ohio Department of Education in Adolescence to Young Adult Teacher Licensure, Life Science.
