Sheila Haley Wathen has extensive work experience in various roles related to communications and technology. From 2015 to the present, they have served as the Assistant Director of Communications at Adrian Dominican Sisters, where they also had a previous role as Interim Webmaster earlier that year. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Technology Communications Consultant for both the Adrian Dominican Montessori Teacher Education Institute and the Dominican Association of Secondary Schools. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2015, they were the Webmaster & Communications for Lenawee Great Start. From 2003 to 2012, they held the position of Webmaster and Technology Coordinator at Saint Joseph Academy. Additionally, in 1998, they worked as the Computer Lab Coordinator at Ohio University, where they also taught an undergraduate course and conducted research in the Psychology Department.
Sheila Haley Wathen pursued their education in a chronological manner, beginning with their undergraduate studies. From 1984 to 1988, they attended Carleton College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, they further expanded their knowledge in the field of psychology by undertaking a PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh. From 1990 to 1997, they dedicated their time to cognitive psychology, leading to the successful completion of their doctoral degree.
