James Thompson

James Thompson has extensive experience in technical services and information technologies, currently serving as Vice President of Technical Services at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County since February 2005. Previous roles include Assistant Vice President and Senior Director of Information Technologies at the same institution. Additionally, James Thompson is the Founding Director of CIO/Arts since November 1998. Prior experience includes serving as Interim IT Manager for the Nashville Predators and IT Director at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. James Thompson holds a degree from Belmont University, attended from 1990 to 1994, and completed high school at Douglas MacArthur High School from 1986 to 1990.
