Asankha Perera

Asankha Perera has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Asankha is the Founder and CEO of Aayu Technologies LLC, where they operate the Business to Business AS2 and EDI Software as a Service. Asankha also founded and served as CEO of AdroitLogic, a company focused on systems integration. Asankha has also played key roles at SLAppForge Inc, serving as both the Founder and CEO. Asankha was the VP of Apache HttpComponents at The Apache Software Foundation and a lead contributor to the Apache Synapse Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Asankha has also worked as an Architect/Product Manager at WSO2, a Software Architect at Virtusa, and in various technical roles at IBM Sri Lanka.

Asankha Perera began their education at St. Joseph's College in Colombo, where they studied from 1980 to 1993. Asankha then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Colombo and completed it from 1996 to 2000. Following this, Asankha Perera undertook a program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as part of the Singapore-MIT Alliance in the field of Computer Science from 2002 to 2003. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, which they successfully completed.
