Kanji Kazahaya

Kanji Kazahaya has extensive work experience in the international business sector. Kanji began their career in 2000 as a Project Manager at ITOCHU Corporation, where they were responsible for business development in mobile content and applications in the global market. In 2004, they joined Toei Animation Co., Ltd. as Director of the Global Strategy Coordination and Execution Department and Director of the International Department. During their time there, they restructured the license business for animation and its derivative products license into hands-on operation, migrated a joint venture in the Asian market into a 100% subsidiary of Toei Animation, and orchestrated Toei Animation's international licensing activities in Tokyo. In 2012, they became an Advisor for Toei Animation Co., Ltd. In 2013, they founded Office Kanji KAZAHAYA, where they provided consulting services to out-of-Japan and Japanese partners. In 2014, they became the Head of Business Development, Japan at AdShare, Inc. In 2015, they became an advisor for Swipe Inc. In 2016, they became an Executive Officer at Swipe, Inc. and a Producer at Tsucrea Co., Ltd. In 2017, they became the President & CEO of Culture Connect Co., Ltd.

Kanji Kazahaya attended Keio University from 1981 to 1985 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electric Engineering.
