Karen Levinson

Karen Levinson has extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Karen currently works as a Marketing Specialist at Adstra, where they ensure compliance with marketing guidelines and has received recognition for their work. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at the New Jersey Humanist Network, where they implemented marketing strategies and managed event coordination. Karen also worked as an Item Writer at ETS and as a Transition Coach at East Brunswick Public Schools, where they supervised various educational programs. Additionally, they taught as an Adjunct Faculty member at Mercer County Community College, specializing in English Composition and study skills. Earlier in their career, Karen worked as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at Levinson Associates, where they created compelling content and advised management. Karen also gained teaching experience as a Student Teacher at Robbins Elementary School, Community Middle School, and Applegarth Middle School, where they developed lessons and collaborated with other teachers. Lastly, they have also taught English classes as an ESL Instructor at the YWCA Princeton, catering to adult learners with varying abilities.

Karen Levinson obtained their Bachelor's degree in English/journalism from the University of Delaware from 1989 to 1993. Karen then completed their High School Diploma at North Brunswick Township High School from 1984 to 1988. Later, they pursued a Webmaster Certificate from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1998-1999. Karen also obtained an ESL Teacher Certificate from Middlesex College in 2007. Karen furthered their education by completing their CEAS degree in K-12 English from Rider University in 2010-2011. Finally, they earned their Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Teaching English as a Second Language from The College of New Jersey from 2011 to 2013.
