Abhijeet Shirgurkar

Abhijeet Shirgurkar is a seasoned engineer with over a decade of experience in system design and verification. At Adtran since October 2011, Abhijeet has contributed as both a Senior Design Verification and Test Engineer and a Senior Systems Design Engineer, focusing on the development of the MOSAIC Cloud Platform for FTTP/FTTC and Carrier Ethernet products within the SDX 6000 and SDX 8000 families. Prior to Adtran, Abhijeet worked at Ciena from May 2008 to August 2010 as a Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included designing the "Ciena Network Designer" and developing algorithms for hardware and software enhancements aligned with Optical Transport Network architecture. Abhijeet holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth, earned between 2005 and 2007.
