Terri Schaefer

Director of Marketing and Communications at Adult Congenital Heart Association

Terri Schaefer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Terri started their career as an Editorial Assistant at Carpe Diem Communications, where they wrote news and features for national trade journals. Terri then worked as a Staff Writer at Perkasie News-Herald before joining Merion Publications Inc. as a Senior Associate Editor/Web Editor of ADVANCE for Physician Assistants. In this role, Terri wrote and edited feature articles for the trade journal and managed all aspects of the website. Terri was also involved in the redesign and rebranding efforts of the journal and website. Terri later moved on to Salus University, where they served as a Communications and Publications Specialist. In this role, they managed the development, design, production, and distribution of University publications and wrote and edited content for various University materials. Currently, Terri is working at the Adult Congenital Heart Association as the Director of Marketing and Communications. Terri is responsible for overseeing the organization's web presence, developing program and fundraising materials, and managing communication activities.

Terri Schaefer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Rider University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003.
