Candice Maier

Candice Maier serves as an Associate Professor and Clinical Director at the Clinical Services Center of the University of Wisconsin-Stout since August 2016, where responsibilities include teaching multiple courses per semester, supervising students, and engaging in departmental activities and research on telehealth practices. Candice also works as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Adulteen Counseling since May 2018, providing therapy to a diverse range of clients. Previous experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Iowa, Clinic Therapist at Tanager Place, Youth Counselor at Four Oaks, and numerous internships focused on family therapy and support. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Couple and Family Therapy from The University of Iowa, an MS in Couple and Family Therapy from North Dakota State University, and a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
