Emily Carter currently serves as VP of Finance at Aduro Advisors, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Emily was VP of Finance and Operations at Avoma from May 2022 to February 2024, and also held the role of Head of Finance and Operations there. Emily has significant experience as Director of Finance and Revenue Operations at Joynd from March 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included building revenue and expense forecast models, leading financial analysis and reporting, and managing teams. In addition to these roles, Emily founded Paperclip Finances in 2010, providing contract Controller services to multiple clients. Emily holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and is pursuing a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance at Colorado State University.
