Christian Eder

Christian Eder is a highly experienced professional in project management and systems engineering, currently serving as Senior Director of Project Management at Adtran since July 2023. With a robust background at ADVA Optical Networking since August 2012, Eder has held key roles including Senior Director of Project Management and Director of Systems Architecture. Prior experience includes a tenure at Nokia Siemens Networks from January 2006 to August 2012 as Program Manager for Optical Networks and a distinguished fellow for optical networks. Eder's career began with Siemens AG from September 1992 to December 2005, where responsibilities included directing system architectures for DWDM products and overseeing system engineering for SDH products. Eder holds a Dipl Ing degree in Elektrotechnik from the Technical University of Munich, earned between 1986 and 1991.
