Glenn Swope

Glenn Swope is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Senior Director for Carrier Ethernet Products R&D at ADVA Optical Networking since January 2016, Glenn has previously held the role of Vice President of Engineering System Test at Overture Networks, where responsibilities included leading product verification, defining system test processes, and overseeing engineering budgets. Earlier career roles included Director of Engineering at Overture Networks and Principal Engineer at Pliant, as well as testing positions at Broadband and SAIC. Glenn holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
