Amanda Walsh

Amanda Walsh has a diverse work experience in government affairs and legislative affairs. Amanda started their career as a Staff Assistant for Senator David Vitter in 2007 and later worked as a Legislative Correspondent for the United States Senate from 2008 to 2011. Amanda then served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2011. In 2012, they joined America's Essential Hospitals as a Manager of Legislative Affairs and was promoted to Senior Manager in 2016, where they played a key role in advocacy efforts for over 300 hospitals and health systems nationwide. Amanda also served as the Assistant Treasurer for Essential Hospitals PAC. In 2019, they transitioned to AdvaMed, where they initially served as the Associate Vice President for Government Affairs before becoming the Vice President of Government Affairs in 2021.

Amanda Walsh obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC Law) between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from James Madison University from 2003 to 2007.
