Matthew Torretta

Matthew Torretta has a diverse work experience in various roles. Matthew started working at Advan Research Corporation in 2022 as an Operations Associate. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they worked at The Sands Atlantic Beach as a Member Services Specialist. In this role, they managed and reconciled club members' accounts using Microsoft Excel and catered to their individual needs. Their dedication led to promotions and recognition as the service provider of the year. Additionally, in 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Financial Analyst at UB Equity Research Group. As part of a team, they researched, analyzed, and traded paper options on TD Ameritrade, and presented investment recommendations to the team based on the analysis of companies' financial reports.

Matthew Torretta completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Data Science from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where they studied from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York. Matthew attended this university from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Matthew has obtained various certifications, including SQL from Udemy in December 2020, Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP in June 2020, and Introduction to Data Modeling using Excel from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York in May 2020.
