Vivian Barclay is an accomplished professional in the Canadian music industry with extensive experience in leadership and governance. Currently serving as Board President of ADVANCE, Canada's Black music business collective since June 2020, Barclay also holds board membership with the Canadian Music Publishers Association and Honey Jam. Previously, involvement with SOCAN as a Member of the Board of Directors included responsibilities on the Executive Governance Committee. Barclay's tenure at Warner Chappell Music Canada Ltd as Managing Director lasted over two decades, concluding in March 2024. Additional contributions include serving on the boards of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences/The JUNO Awards and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as teaching music publishing and copyright at the Metalworks Institute of Sound & Music Production. Barclay earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television from Toronto Metropolitan University.
