Anne Mwangi Mba

Anne Mwangi MBA, MEd, Chartered MCIPD is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Race Equality Charter at Advance HE since January 2023, Anne supports the Higher Education sector in enhancing race equality outcomes. Previously, Anne held the position of Head of Diversity and Inclusion at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation from January 2017 to January 2023, where proactive engagement was employed to facilitate organizational change. Earlier roles include serving as the Equality and Diversity Advisor at the University of Hull and as Senior Equality Policy Officer at Kirklees Council, where responsibilities encompassed policy development, legislative advice, and the management of positive action initiatives. Anne holds a Bachelor of Commerce and two Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Education from the University of Nairobi, University of Birmingham, and University of Leeds.
