Donatella Maraschin is an Associate Professor in Media and Film at Coventry University since April 2022, also serving as Cluster Lead (Academic) Communications and Link Tutor for PSB Singapore. With a background as a Senior Fellow of Higher Education (SFHEA) at Advance HE since June 2014, Donatella has previously held roles as Senior Lecturer and Course Director for both the MA Creative Media Industries and BA Multimedia Journalism at London South Bank University from September 2005 to October 2018. Earlier experience includes a position as Producer/Documentary Script Advisor at the National Research Council in Milan, Italy, from 1989 to 2008, along with lecturing at the University of Reading between 2003 and 2005 and serving as Deputy Editor for Sherbet Magazine in London from 2000 to 2002. Donatella holds a PhD in Film and Visual Anthropology from the University of Reading and a BA in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Università di Pavia.
