Karam Al-Obaidi, PhD, CEng, MCIBSE, FCIAT, SFHEA, is a highly accomplished academic serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of the Natural and Built Environment at Sheffield Hallam University since September 2018. Additionally, Karam is the Course Leader for the MSc Zero Carbon Buildings and Technologies at the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and holds several prestigious professional titles, including Fellow Member of CIAT and Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council. Karam has a robust background in architecture and sustainability, having previously held key academic positions such as Head of Research Unit at the University of Malaya and Lecturer at Universiti Sains Malaysia.
