Jon Ford

Jon Ford (PhD) has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jon served as the Managing Director at Advance Healthcare from 2014, overseeing six practices offering various services to the community. In addition, they worked as an Associate Professor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University from December 2015 to January 2019, and also served as the Physiotherapy Discipline Lead during this time. Jon was a member of the Clinical and Management Advisory Committee (CMAC) for the Electronic Persistent Pain Outcomes Collaboration (ePPOC) since 2016. Furthermore, they held the position of Group Leader at STOPS.physio and Clinical Advisor at WorkSafe Victoria. Earlier in their career, Jon was the Clinical Excellence Manager at LifeCare and Spinal Management Clinics from 1994 to 2017.

Jon Ford (PhD) received a Higher School Certificate from Ivanhoe Boys Grammar School in 1982. Jon then went on to obtain a B App Sc (Physio) degree from La Trobe University between 1984 and 1988. Following that, they pursued a PhD and M Physio degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, completing it from 1997 to 2005. Recently, from 2019 to 2021, Jon earned a Clinical Specialization and Original Contribution degree from the Australian College of Physiotherapy.
