Pete Shabe

Pete Shabe is the founder and current president of Advance Research Associates. Pete has dedicated their career to research and development in the biotechnology field.

Pete started their professional journey in 1985 as an Associate Biostatistician/Bioanalyst III at Syntex Corporation. Pete quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Biostatistician at Collagen Corporation just three years later. In 1991, Pete made a lateral move to PARAXEL International Corporation where they served as Associate Director of Database Services, Biostatistics, and Data Management.

In 1994, Pete left PARAXEL to join Resource Biometrics, Inc. as their Director of Biostatistics and Project Management. Pete remained with the company for two years before moving on to UC Santa Cruz in 1996. Pete spent four years at UC Santa Cruz before founding Advance Research Associates in 2000.

Pete has been instrumental in developing new methods and software for clinical trial design and analysis. Pete's work has helped advance the field of biotechnology and has improved the lives of countless people around the world.

Pete Shabe has a MS in Statistics from Marquette University and a BS in Computational Mathematics, Psychometrics from Marquette University.
