Data Scientist at Advanced Agrilytics

Ana Spranger has worked in various roles in the data science, engineering, and research fields. In 2021, they began working as a Data Scientist and Data Analyst at Advanced Agrilytics. From 2019 to 2021, they were a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they applied data analysis, modeling, and optimization techniques to reduce supply chain costs, lead research projects to optimize harvesting operations, and analyze grain marketing and grain pricing trade-offs. Additionally, they published a paper on identifying opportunities in renewable energy production from agricultural residues. In 2019, they also worked as a Supply Chain Intern at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Engineering Project Manager at Universidade de São Paulo. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Scientific Initiation Intern, where they took part in a microbiological analysis project, executed laboratorial analysis in DNA samples, and published a paper at Aquaculture Online Magazine.

Ana Spranger attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2019 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science in Agricultural and Biological Engineering. Ana also attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2014 to 2019, studying Food Engineering. In January 2022, they obtained a certification in Learning COBIT from LinkedIn.
