Yemaya Bordain

Yemaya Bordain serves as the Board Director and VP of Technology at the Advanced Air Mobility Institute and is a Committee Member for Emerging Technologies at the National Business Aviation Association, where Yemaya is recognized as a 2024 Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 Award Recipient. With a strong focus on aviation safety and policy, particularly in AI and emerging technologies, Yemaya is also a Board Member and President-Elect of the ECE Alumni Board of Directors at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer and President of the Americas at Daedalean AI, where Yemaya played a key role in establishing its US presence, and positions at Intel Corporation, where strategic leadership in sales resulted in significant market expansion. Yemaya's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Clark Atlanta University.
