Kari Nelson Lmsw

Kari Nelson, LMSW, is an experienced social work professional currently serving as a Student Field Supervisor for self-employed practice since May 2021, where mentorship of graduate students in social work is a primary focus. Additionally, Kari has held various roles at Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. since February 2010, including Clinician/Intensive Care Manager and Women's Recovery Specialist. Previous experience includes serving as a Domestic Violence Intervention Counselor at Prudence Crandall Center, Inc. from February 2008 to February 2010 and as a Residential Program Worker at Oak Hill from September 2006 to March 2009. Academically, Kari earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Clinical Social Work and Leadership and Community Organization from Fordham University between 2015 and 2017 and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminology from Western New England University from 2001 to 2005.
