Yap Yi Sheng

Yap Yi Sheng is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in electrical, software, and instrumentation engineering. Currently, Yap serves as a Senior Electrical and Software Engineer at Advanced Ceramics Technology (M) Sdn Bhd since October 2022. Prior to this role, Yap worked at Air Liquide as a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer from January 2017 to October 2022, focusing on DCS, PLC, and SCADA maintenance, planning, and system upgrades. Earlier experience includes a position as a System Engineer at Yokogawa, where responsibilities involved DCS project hardware/software process design and commissioning, along with software and logic generation for DCS systems. Yap Yi Sheng holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechanical Engineering and Control Systems, from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, earned between 2009 and 2013.
