Nathan van Velson

Nathan Van Velson is a skilled engineer with significant experience in research and development, currently serving as Lead Engineer at Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. since June 2013. Nathan manages a team of R&D Engineers and oversees various research proposals, including SBIR and STTR initiatives. Prior roles at Advanced Cooling Technologies included Senior Engineer and Research and Development Engineer, where Nathan led technology efforts and supported awarded research programs. Earlier experience includes serving as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University, and as a Manufacturing/Engineering Intern at Stanley Healthcare Solutions. Nathan holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
