Shanna Kurek Msa

Shanna Kurek, MSA, PMP has extensive experience in project management and healthcare. Shanna is currently the Director of Project Management at Advanced Data Systems Corp, where they lead cross-functional teams to deliver transformation projects in the healthcare sector. Shanna is responsible for conceptualizing, proposing, building, and implementing scalable EMR/EHR/Practice Management systems. Shanna also focuses on building strong client relationships and identifying business development opportunities.

Prior to their current role, Shanna worked as a Recruitment Specialist at Infirmary Health. Shanna developed candidate generation strategies, managed the recruitment process, and oversaw onboarding and credentialing.

Shanna also has experience as a Medical Education Manager at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. In this role, they oversaw the operations and administration of medical education programs, reduced administrative workloads, and ensured compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Earlier in their career, Shanna worked as a Program Assistant at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Shanna coordinated and facilitated educational initiatives, built relationships with stakeholders, and organized fundraising campaigns and events to support medical students.

Shanna Kurek, MSA, PMP, has a diverse education background. Shanna holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication, General from Villanova University. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Shanna further enhanced their educational qualifications by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Public Administration from the University of West Florida.

In terms of certifications, Shanna has earned the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2020. Shanna also completed the Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)® course offered by LinkedIn in September 2020. Furthermore, Shanna has pursued continuous learning in project management by completing the Project Management: The Basics for Success course on Coursera in August 2020.
