Billy Edgar

Billy Edgar is an experienced technician with a focus on prototype development and quality assurance. Currently serving as a Prototype Technician at Advanced Electric Machines since May 2022, Billy previously worked as a Quality Technician at Hitachi Rail for a brief period in early 2022. Prior to that role, Billy accumulated significant experience at ZF Group from October 2011 to December 2021 as a New Product/Prototype Introduction Technician, managing the prototype lab and overseeing the transition from design concept to product launch of power steering motors. Additionally, Billy worked as a Process Quality Technician at TRW Automotive from January 2001 to September 2011, where responsibilities included supporting production processes and utilizing Six Sigma tools to enhance quality and reduce waste.
