Claudia Powell Cooper

Claudia Powell Cooper, PMP, possesses extensive experience in business development and project management within the energy sector. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at Advanced Energy since September 2016, Claudia focuses on fostering relationships with utility clients to align with their strategic goals. Previously, Claudia held the role of Account Manager, engaging with North Carolina electric cooperatives to address the evolving energy landscape, and served as Project Manager, overseeing technical teams on complex projects for electric utilities and various organizations. Prior experience includes positions as Energy Program Manager and Energy Auditor at North Carolina State University, as well as Environmental Project Coordinator at the NC Department of Environmental Quality. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from North Carolina State University.
