John Donaghey

John Donaghey is the EVP & Global Head of Sales at Advanced Energy. John has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including positions at Texas Instruments, Amkor Technology, and J-Devices Corporation.

John started their career at Texas Instruments in 1991 as the Director of Marketing and Applications. John was responsible for global team of 100+ employees in global business operations, marketing and engineering. In 2014, they left Texas Instruments to join Amkor Technology as the Corporate Vice President, GM Mainstream Business Unit.

At Amkor Technology, John was part of the executive management team that doubled the Company’s revenue from 2015 - 2020 while generating positive cash flow each of those years. John was directly responsible for P&L for a 4-product-lines assembly and test business (MEMS/Sensor, Memory, Leadframe/Laminate Wirebond, and Power Discrete products). John also strengthened/led the Asia sales organization.

In 2021, John left Amkor Technology to join J-Devices Corporation as a Member Board Of Directors. John is responsible for conducting corporate board responsibilities (approved budgets, financial statements/board members) and leading the integration of J-Devices into Amkor across sales, business unit, R&D, finance, HR, IT, legal, marketing areas and manufacturing teams.

John Donaghey has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. John also attended North Garland High School.
