Jaime Zabala has a diverse work experience, starting as the Vice President of Advanced Hurricane Technology from August 2006 to May 2010, where they managed day-to-day operations and programmed optimization programs. Jaime then worked as a Flight Software Tester and later as a Test Conductor for NASA GODDARD MMS Project from May 2010 to December 2013, where they designed and implemented automated tests for the MMS project. From May 2010 to December 2013, they were also a Software Engineer at Vantage Systems. Jaime then joined ASRC Space and Defense in December 2013 as a Test Engineer, supporting NASA's ATLAS mission and leading test activities for XRISM. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Test Engineer - WFIRST Instrument Command and Data Handling Subsystem at AKAT Corp. since August 2018. In May 2019, Jaime became the President of Advanced Hurricane Technology Inc., where they oversee IT and financial aspects and plays a role in shaping the company's future.
Jaime Zabala has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida Gulf Coast University, which was obtained between the years 2006 and 2010. Jaime also holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering / Telecommunications from The Johns Hopkins University, earned from 2012 to 2016. In addition, Jaime has obtained certifications as a Foundation Level Tester from the International Software Testing Qualification Boards (ISTQB) and as a Certified building contractor from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in 2011.
