Greg Dawes

Greg Dawes has over 37 years of work experience. Greg began their career in 1984 as a Systems Engineer at Paradyne Corporation. Greg then moved to Dallas to become a Field Engineer for Paradyne Networks. After that, they were an Instructor/Course Developer for AT&T Paradyne in Largo, FL, and then held the role of Pre-Sales Technical Support Engineer and Sales Engineer for Zhone. From 2000 to 2017, they were the Owner of Shamgar Services. Greg then became the Global Technical Director for Willard Solutions International from 2017 to 2021. Since 2021, they have held the roles of Sales Engineer for Advanced Media Technologies, Inc., Solutions Architect for Shamgar Solutions, LLC, and Global Technical Director and Solutions Architect/Technical Director for VT Group.

Greg Dawes obtained a BS in Math from the University of Oklahoma between 1979 and 1983. Greg then obtained an MBA in General Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University between 1993 and 1995. In 2021, they obtained OLAN Deployment Knowledge from Tellabs in April, OLAN Planning & Design Associate from Tellabs in March, SD-LAN Design & Commissioning Training from Corning Incorporated in February, and OLAN Planning & Design Knowledge from Tellabs. In 2009, they obtained FiberLAN Design & Commissioning from DZSi in January.
