Sean Ivens

Sean Ivens has over 25 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Sean started their career as a Fire Fighter for the Government of the Northwest Territories in 1996. In 1995, they founded Advanced Medical Solutions Inc., where they served as the President & CEO. In this role, they provided overall leadership, developed operational objectives, fostered innovation, and established strong relationships with clients and partners. In 2003, they also served as the President & CEO of Med.Ex Inc., a locally owned wholesale company. In 2008, they became the Managing General Partner for Medic North Group of Companies, a partnership focused on emergency medical services. Additionally, they previously owned and operated Medic North Emergency Services Ltd., providing pre-hospital services in the North from 1995 to 2012.

Sean Ivens has a diverse education history. In 1984, they completed Grade 12 at Diamond Jenness Secondary School. Sean then pursued their passion for Culinary Arts and obtained a Red Seal Chef degree from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) between 1989 and 1991. To further expand their skills, Sean attended Red Deer College from 1991 to 1992, focusing on Hotel Restaurant Management. In 1994, they briefly attended Alberta Vocational College to obtain an EMT-A certification in Emergency Medical Services.
