Chris V.

Chris V. is a Senior Systems Design Engineer at AMD with extensive experience in AI, deep learning, and embedded systems. They previously served as a Data Center GPU Validation Intern at AMD, where they contributed to the MI300X chip's automation and validation processes. Chris also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at LSU, focusing on enhancing the resilience of TensorFlow-based LSTM neural networks. Additionally, they held software engineering roles in various projects, including a contact tracing application during the COVID-19 pandemic and an AR application for composite material manufacturing. Chris earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Louisiana State University.
