Matthew Wade

Matthew Wade currently serves as the Lead Design Engineer at AELIUS Exploitation Technologies, LLC, where responsibilities include conceptual strategy since March 2020. As Co-Founder of Wade Made, active since June 2018, Matthew specializes in design and strategy consulting, guiding companies from ideation to prototyping with a focus on manufacturing and user experience. Previous roles include Product Development Manager at Capewell Aerial Systems, where strategic design and prototype oversight were key responsibilities, and Director of Industrial Design at SOFWERX. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Embedded Fab Lab Manager with The Fab Foundation, Fab Lab Coordinator at Patrick Henry Community College, and Industrial Design Manager at H. C. Wade Sheet Metal Works, Inc. Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, awarded in 2007.
