Deval Shah

Deval Shah is currently a Member of Technical Staff in AI Models and Applications at AMD, where they focus on advanced technologies. Deval earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, with a thesis centered on Energy-Efficient Acceleration for Autonomous Robotics. Prior to this, Deval worked as a VLSI Design Engineer at Qualcomm, contributing to timing closure methodologies and Power Performance Area optimization. With over nine years of experience in computer architecture and VLSI design, Deval has a strong research background in building machine learning models and performance analysis for hardware acceleration.
