Doug Jones

Doug Jones is currently serving as PMTS Platform Firmware Architect at AMD since May 2024. Prior to this role, Doug spent over a decade at Intel Corporation, starting as a Firmware Engineer and rising to hold various significant positions including Sr. Technical Program Manager, where responsibilities included leading the Firmware eXecution Team and collaborating across multiple departments to enhance XEON processor firmware development. Doug's extensive experience spans various roles in firmware engineering and program management at companies such as National Presort, Asterisc Solutions, Marvell Semiconductor, and Sharp Microelectronics of the Americas. Doug is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Suffolk County Community College.
