Jayanta Bhadra

Jayanta (Jay) Bhadra is a seasoned professional in hardware design engineering with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Hardware Design Engineering at AMD since 2018, Jay is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Previous roles include Director of Verification, Emulation, and Systems Design Enablement at NXP Semiconductors and Senior Manager at Freescale Semiconductor Inc. Jay's career began at Motorola in various verification roles after obtaining a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Jadavpur University.
