Katie Eckermann

Katie Eckermann has extensive experience in business development and product management within the semiconductor and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director of Business Development in the Semi-Custom Business Unit at AMD, Katie has held various prominent roles at AMD, including Director of Product Management for Datacenter GPU and Accelerated Computing, and Chief of Staff for the Datacenter and Embedded Solutions Group. Prior to AMD, Katie worked at Freescale Semiconductor as a Networking Product Marketing Manager, where critical strategies for Power Architecture in the Storage market were developed. Earlier experience includes positions at Spansion and research at the Microphotonics Center and RLE at MIT, where Katie focused on power dissipation in optical transceivers and communications technology. Katie earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
