Majid Barazande-Pour

Majid Barazande-Pour is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in silicon design and verification, spanning roles at major companies such as AMD, Untether AI, and Qualcomm. Currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at AMD, Majid has held positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Design and Verification Engineer at Untether AI and Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, where significant contributions included UVM testbench development for 4G/5G modems, architectural design for various modem blocks, and advancements in digital filtering methods for RF applications. Majid's prior experience includes senior design roles at Silicon Labs and Multilink, where expertise in ASIC and FPGA implementations was demonstrated through various innovative signal processing designs. Majid holds a Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Waterloo, complemented by master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of Tehran and Isfahan University of Technology, respectively.
