Meenakshisundaram Chinthamani

Meenakshisundaram Chinthamani currently serves as Technical Director for Server Architecture Performance Modeling at AMD since February 2023, leading a team of over 20 engineers in building SoC performance models for EPYC servers and supporting performance validation. Prior to this role, Chinthamani worked at Intel Corporation from July 1999 to January 2023, holding various positions including Principal Engineer in the Cloud Solution Architect role for the Xeon server product portfolio, where key contributions included influencing the Xeon server roadmap strategy and developing a data center level TCO model. Additional roles involved managing performance modeling teams, including significant projects on Knights Landing and Xeon-Phi processors, and leading performance assurance for multi-socket server chipsets. Chinthamani holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
