Nafiul Hyder

Nafiul Hyder is an experienced professional in the fields of electrical and computer engineering, currently serving as an Advisory Council Member at Toronto Metropolitan University since September 2024. In this role, Nafiul provides strategic guidance on curriculum development and industry trends while collaborating with faculty and industry professionals to enhance educational programs. Nafiul has been with AMD since October 2017, progressing through roles from Systems Design Engineer to Senior Systems Design Engineer and currently as a Member of Technical Staff Design Engineer. Prior to this, Nafiul worked as a Research Analyst at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada for a brief period in 2017 and held positions as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Ryerson University from May 2015 to May 2017. Nafiul holds a Master of Applied Science in Computer Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, both from Ryerson University.
