Nicolas Baez

Nicolas Baez is a Senior Silicon Design Engineer at AMD, focusing on IP Silicon Design for the Infinity Fabric. Previously, they worked as a Senior Product Development Engineer at AMD, where they specialized in ATE test engineering for Ryzen and Threadripper products, and led scan test case bring up for AMD APU embedded projects. Nicolas has experience in test program development, verification, and debugging in RTL, as well as skills in PCB design and architecture for machine learning. They completed a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at UTSA, where they published a thesis on a low latency floating point multiply-accumulate unit for DNN acceleration.
