Raj Krishnamurthy

Raj Krishnamurthy is a highly experienced professional in the fields of AI and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at AMD since September 2022. In this role, Raj focuses on AI solutions and model research, collaborates with customers, startups, and university labs, and integrates learnings into strategic roadmaps. Prior to joining AMD, Raj had a distinguished career at IBM from November 2003 to September 2022, where roles included Global Technical Director and Chief Architect, leading AI initiatives for IBM Systems, developing accelerator strategies, and fostering partnerships with research labs. Raj also contributed significantly to the co-creation of Z Analytics and hardware acceleration efforts. Raj holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
