Ryan Zhao

Ryan Zhao is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in AI GPU software and management. Currently serving as Sr. Manager for AI GPU Software Roadmap and Release Management at AMD since June 2019, Ryan leads the MI300 SW Stack development and delivery for HPC and AI applications. Prior to AMD, Ryan founded Quacent Technologies Inc., providing tailored IT solutions, and held positions at Huawei Technologies as Account Director, where market expansion was achieved in the Enterprise Wireless sector. Additionally, Ryan has extensive experience from roles at BORQS in product management, Nortel in global lab operations, and Nokia Siemens Networks in customer engineering. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering in Data Communications from The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University.
