Saad Islam Khan

Saad Islam Khan is a Senior Design Verification Engineer at AMD since July 2025, specializing in the functional verification of SoC and IP cores with a focus on memory controllers and high-speed interfaces. Prior to this role, Saad worked as a Hardware Engineer at DreamBig Semiconductor Inc. from September 2022 to August 2025, where responsibilities included ASIC Verification for next-generation MARs Chiplets utilized in AI, data centers, and automotive sectors. Earlier experience includes a position as a Trainee Chip Design Verification Engineer at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), along with independent hardware development projects while pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, where studies were completed in 2022. Saad's educational background also includes pre-engineering studies at Jinnah Institute of Informatics and Commerce and a foundational education in Computer Science at St Mark's High School.
